I just can't get in the Christmas spirit no matter how hard I try. I have a friend who with recent comments she and her mil made on fb I think will announce a pregnancy soon. I'm just surrounded by babies and kids, today at the mall seemed like everywhere I turned there was a stroller behind me. I feel bad venting to dh because he has a friend who is really sick and doesn't have much time left. I'm just ready for 2012 and hoping it won't be a repeat of the last 3 years (lost 2 babies in 09, 1 baby in 10 and 1 baby this year). Usually by now I'm baking like crazy and this year I haven't even gotten all my recipes together and probably won't bake as many cookies as I usually do.

    Big ::HUGS:: hon.  I feel the same way.  I put 3 decorations on the tree and stopped... just don't feel like decorating.  I haven't even went shopping yet Embarrassed

    (((HUGS)))  I feel the same way.  I don't even think we're going to do any decorating this year.  I hope 2012 bring much joy and happiness to us all!

    I agree we didn't put anything up and I have no plans too.

    Similarly, I haven't been too festive. I am also dreading being around my family in Texas over that Christmas weekend. Lots of kids and reminders and "how are you? Are you pregnant?"

    Oh hun, I feel ya.  We decided no more Christmas trees until we have a LO.  I hope you can get into the spirit, but totally understand why you aren't.  Sending you tons of love.

    ((hugs)) Hopefully 2012 brings a much better year all around. We have our tree up, but other than that I'm not really doing presents or anything this year. I'm baking some stuff but that's more for my sanity (it's therapeutic) than anything else.
