2+ time moms...linea nigra question!

Did it appear for you in your first?

How about your second?  

Was it the same for each pregnancy?

Did it disappear post pregnancy if you had it previously? 

I had it very faintly in my first pregnancy, but just a skinny line that extended only from my pelvic area up to my belly button where it stopped (I called it my balloon string ;-)

This pregnancy it's still pretty faint, but from my pelvic area to my belly button it's much thicker....and then it continues as a skinny line from my belly button nearly up to my sternum.

It totally disappeared after my first pregnancy - curious to see what will happen this time. 

NBD at all, just found it interesting that it's so different with this pregnancy than it was with my first...I guess I figured that you either got it or you didn't...and however it showed up on you was it.  Surprised me when I noticed it changed so much!

    My first pregnancy, I had a dark line over my whole belly, and it faded after awhile.  But with this pregnancy, I haven't gotten the line at all, weird!

    Last pregnancy I had it only below my belly button, and it wasn't super thick or dark. It went away, and this time I've got nothing so far.

    They are both about the same.  Thin lines that showed up in my mid-30's weeks. I think it took a couple months to go away after DS was born.

    Had it last time, but not this time. It did disappear not long after pregnancy.

    All the way up my belly with DS. It did go away within a couple months pp. No sign of it yet this time around.

    I didnt notice mine the first time until after I had my son and it took forever for it to disappear (well over a year) I don't notice one this time but that doesn't mean I won't later...

    How about your second?  Yes, but lighter.

    Was it the same for each pregnancy? No, this time is is lighter. 

    Did it disappear post pregnancy if you had it previously? It got a lot lighter but never went away.   I don't know if BFing and then getting pregnant around 7-8 months had anything to do with it.

    1st pg - yup I got it  (the whole way up) and it gradually faded over time.  Maybe not completely gone, but like 95% gone.  Basically, I could only see it when I was looking up close, but when just wearing my bathing suit no one would really notice.  I remember it took a while to fade though, like probably almost a year.

    2nd - no line yet, yay!
