2 under 2 and I'm freaking out!

I just got my BFP for baby #2.  DH and I are very excited / blessed - we planned this. We want 3 kids and with MH being 35, we want to be done sooner rather than later. But as much as I want this baby, I'm scared to death. DS will only be 17.5 months. How will we manage? Both MH and I work full-time. He works nights and watches DS during the day and I work until 3 and do the night shift at home. We barely have enough time as it is. We are so fortunate that DS is such a good baby - sleeps well, is generally happy; but he's still a baby. He needs me! What am I thinking??? Eeek... I'm having a BABY!

    Well, Congrats!  It is definitely overwhelming at first regardless if planned or a surprise like out 2nd! :)  DS had just turned 1 when I found out we were pregnant, but I had my freak-out moment and then it was game on.  You just do what you havee to do and really it went great.  You can do this!!!  Good luck!

    DS and DD are 14.5 months apart. It's not easy by any stretch of the imagination, but it will become the only thing you know and you will just do it because you have to. On the hardest days/nights I try to remind myself thaty kids only get one childhood and it's my job to give them the best one I can. 
    This is such great advice! My 2 are 13.5 months apart and it's hard. But it's totally worth it! You learn real quick how to get things done and you also forget life with just 1 almost instantly. I honestly can't remember my life with just my DD and I have no idea what I did with myself. I must have been so bored, and I thought I was busy then! Stick out tongue But you really do just have to do it and eventually it gets easier... I can see this already and we are only 11 weeks in.

    Just wanted to say that I was encouraged by reading this post.  I am definitely very nervous about having 2 under 2 (though ours will be about 20 months).  I know people do it all the time.. .but it is definitely a scary thought to me.  I am glad you posted this and am thankful for the encouraging words from those that are/have done it!

    ditto the above posts.  2U2 is hard, but you do what you have to do and before you know it, that's what your life is.  you make it work and no one knows the better!  it's scary, but like everyone says - time flies - and it does!
