Had a gender ultrasound yesterday

in June 2012 Moms

And the results are sealed in this envelope, ready to be opened on Christmas morning.  The tech said she was 99% sure of her guess.  I'm so excited (and am trying really hard to be patient).

    I could never wait but I am impressed!! Especially sitting out on the tree like that... staring at you from across the room at all times. :) Glad you got such a positive result though, it would be awful to have lingering doubt about whether they got it right or not.

    I admire your patience. I would have had the envelope ripped open by the time I reached the parking lot, and probably attempted to hide it by resealing it in a different envelope and then acting surprised on Christmas morning. :)

    I am the least patient person I know, so I am really trying here.  My H was inclined to not find out at all, so waiting until Christmas morning is a happy medium for me.  I would love to rip it open, but at this point am trying to be strong to prove him wrong (he thinks I will cave before then).

    I had the tech turn the monitor on the wall off so that I couldn't watch during the scan (because I knew I'd try to guess).  You might want to try to do that if you can.

    Omg that is such strength, lol. I don't know if I could wait that long if I knew it was right there!!! So exciting!!!!

    That is a long time to wait.  Our a/s is the day before our 5th anniversary so I'm going to have them do the envelope but we only have to wait the next day to find out.  Good luck on being patient.

    I go 12/28 to try to find out. I will be 15 weeks. Im so excited! I commend you for waiting but Im so ready to know right now! I havent purchased anything yet and want to wait until I find out the sex before I do! Good Luck!

    Yes This. And, as a side note, if I find presents, I snoop. So I definitely couldn't have baby's sex sitting in my tree without me going at it. You have incredible restraint!
