I thought this might get lost in the PG check in....I love, love, love the girl name you chose!  I see all these nesties coming up with fantastic names for their LOs and it makes me a bit jealous.  Naming this 2nd boy is hard!  Hopefully you'll have a girl and get to use it because it is a fantastic name, IMHO. Smile

    Agree, beautiful name! Clare is a family name and is my dad's middle name. I love it.

    Aww, thank you guys! I'm really excited about it. Eleanor has always been a favorite of mine and I think Nora is just such a sweet nick name. Eleanor is the name of one of my favorite all time book characters too :)

    Clare is my grandma's name. She'll just die of happiness if she gets a great grandchild named after her :)

    Now I just have to think of the perfect boy name!

    You can steal my dad's:  Thomas Clare.  ::swoons::  I LOVE my daddy's name.  I had hoped to use it instead of Spencer, but Jay wouldn't budge.  Not even for a middle name.  Jerk.

    Oh, well that's easy! You can still use Leo and Charlie. Luke and Leo...has kind of a ring to it...where have I heard a pairing like that before...

    Jay:  How about ____?

    Me:  No way!  There was a kid in my kindergarten class named ___ and he was a total dildo.

    Jay:  Well, what about ____?

    Me:  Are you kidding me?!  What about the guy on "Survivor" who won that one season and his name was ____.  He was a jacka$$.  Don't even get me started.

     

    :)  It's a wonder our children have names too.  But then again, we used names that neither of us had heard on people even remotely related to us/on tv/etc.

    I'm going to pretend this suggestion doesn't exist because DH will INSIST that we use it.  Stick out tongue  He already suggested Anikan (sp?).  Seriously.

    Right now we're thinking Thomas for the MN after my grandpa.  It's the FN that's giving us trouble.

    Just wanted to say thank you all again for telling me you love the name! I told MIL about it today. Her response: "Eleanor? Well that's...doable."

    Sooo yeah, glad some people like it! :)
