So, we're going to Costa Rica in a week. Holy crap! I was able to borrow a bunch of stuff (clothes) for the trip from friends with slightly older babies, but no one has a raincoat. I've found some online, but I can't seem to find anything locally that I can just go to the store and pick up. We're leaving Austin on the 20th, and I feel like if I order something online I'm going to have to pay an arm and a leg in shipping to get it here on time. Has anyone seen any raincoats locally in stores, maybe 18-24 month size? I've checked Target and Babies R Us, and neither carries raincoats in the store. There are some absolutely adorable ones at Nordstrom, but as you can imagine they are not cheap. Any recs for local places where I could buy a raincoat for DD would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Amy
Re: Getting a toddler raincoat locally?
I haven't checked REI. Great idea, thank you!
I heart the first one. Going to get it today. Thanks for the rec - I never would have thought of REI!
We have one of the 3-in-1 jackets from T h e C hil dr en's Pl a ce -- you can just take the inside layer out and use the outside as a rain coat. I LOVE this jacket because of its versatility.
