It doesn't look like I've dropped but darn it sure is getting heavier in there. I'm wondering if I'll feel when I've started to drop. I've gained 4+ pounds this past week alone. Yikes.
Who has seen/felt it happening?

I havent dropped yet this time and might not until I go into labor.
With my first I could tell because I had to pee even more frequently, driving over bumps in the the road was very uncomfortable, and I had a hard time standing at the sink to wash dishes by hand.
apparently it looks like I have dropped because a friend commented on how low I am carrying yesterday. I know she is head down, she likes to kick my ribs and knee my belly.
I think I've started to drop, according to comments I've received lately. Last night I felt this awful pain really really low that I've never experienced before. It might be my imagination, but I think I look a good amount lower today. I never dropped with DS but he still came early, so we'll see what happens this time!
I'll be curious to see what the doctor says tomorrow.
I received a comment from someone that I look like I've dropped, but I think it's only because this LO FINALLY decided to move from transverse to head down, so the overall shape of my belly has changed. I don't feel like I've "dropped".

I don't remember ever feeling DS drop, and from what I've heard 2nd time babies don't usually drop until in labor. So I'm not expecting it but it would be nice to have some more room to breathe!

My LO has dropped. There's a LOT more pressure on my pelvic bone and walking around has become a lot more difficult. Plus, I'm peeing every 5 minutes. My bump looks more like a slope than a shelf if that makes sense to you.
I've had an increased amount of pain in the lady part areas... feels pretty sore, with occasional jolts of pain in the joints. I also have a bit more back pain from time to time. One key indication is the increased room up top. I'm able to eat a little more, AND the heart burn has totally slowed down! Although, I still feel like it's difficult to breathe at times.

Mine too! I assumed it was fat since I figured that would flatten out, but DH keeps saying it's probably organs being pushed all around
My LO has been low for as long as I can remember. I actually never had any kicking in the ribs. Most movements are felt from belly button down. It's actually my excuse to not have people trying to feel my belly for movement. I'll only let DH touch me that low. Some days I start to waddle so I feel like baby has dropped more, but then the next day I'll be fine again. Although, I don't know how much lower he can get without coming out.
Its definitely gotten harder for me to walk since last week and my waddle is full-on (complete with pelvis pain and sore glutes from my muscles compensating). I wonder if that means he's dropped....??
Yep--though because I'm short, I still look like I'm carrying high, I was suspicious that I'd dropped last week and my Dr confirmed it on Monday--told me I'm dilated to 1 cm and that baby is low and putting pressure on my cervix. I've had more pelvic pain/discomfort, am waddling more now, and have to pee more frequently--all the signs. I think you'll be able to tell but it may take a couple days to be sure
I have had lo drop because I feel like it have room to breathe and the pressure from him pushing on my ribs is gone but he pops back up and sits high again. I asked my dr today and he said once the baby officially drops his head into my pelvis, he will not pop back up again.

I carry high so I suspect if/when I drop, it will be obvious!
I am carrying really high which threw off measurements for months. When the measured last time, it appeared that the growth had almost stopped. Doc said that the baby dropped. I can feel it some, too. I can breathe again and I don't feel like s butt is going to come out of my sternum.

I'm carrying high again... my son didn't drop until I was in active labor with him and I am assuming that I will have the same situation with this one because he is settled in nice and high and thus far I have made 0 progress.
I've had people at work commenting, starting just Wednesday, that I look as though I've dropped...I never dropped with my daughter, so this is all new to me (esp at only 35 wks!). Last night at dinner I did feel as though my belly were sitting on my lap instead of hovering above it.
Re: Dropping - anyone feeling it? Have you dropped?

Eeek!
I'm so anxious to see if I'll experience this. We shall see I guess!

BGG - it definitely looks like you've dropped.

funny you should post this. I didn't think about it much because they say second time or after you drop really close to (or while IN) labor...
but today I feel like my bump is noticibly lower and I am getting a LOT more pressure down low.
so... I don't know. he might just as easily move again but for now it feels like this kid has dropped.
