I am looking for a free Santa option. We are just South of Seattle, but would go to Seattle, West Seattle, or even the Eastside. Any suggestions? The mall options are just too pricey IMO.
Our first baby girl, Lucia Joy, joined us on April 1, 2010!
Molbaks in Woodinville has a free santa on the weekends from 11-3. We went on Saturday and waited in line for less than 5 minutes. You take your own pictures, there isn't someone there to take them for you.

There is one in the West Seattle junction at Capers. You just need to bring can food donations. Here's the blog and on the right hand side it says the dates and time. Need to bring your own camera
Yep, what she said. Capers Santa is the best!! Super authentic, classic and so nice. We went last weekend and were able to spend :15 alone - it was our 3rd year with him. He is at Caper's 1-5 Sat & Sun. Also, free face painting and mule carriage rides down a few blocks south and a great cupcake shop with play area (Coffee to a Tea) a block North.
Here is our visit. G was so enthralled he would not look at the camera, LOL. The beauty of taking your own is you can take a ton and probably get a good one! I just love him, he is the Santa of my memories brought to life!
