does movement ever feel like tickles?

Maybe this is what women mean when they say butterflies. I started having thumps/taps/muscle twinges last week, but today I also got this ticklish feeling several times. I kinda thought it was just my shirt, but it didn't feel quite right. 

Would anyone else describe movement as tickles?

    I can see that.  Someone else posted here a while ago that it feels like when a goldfish hits the side of the plastic bag you bring it home in.  I call mine flutters, though they are getting stronger every day and LO really likes mealtimes!

    I dunno, the kiddo actually made me laugh today because it felt tickly.. So my answer is yes!

    Yes, LO's movements feel like tickles on the inside at this point to me.

    I think that's a great way to describe it. I feel this same little feelin down low pretty often, and I don't think it's gas....if I am totally honest it kinda creeps me out. I think once it feels more like a thump or a kick then it will be awesome but the little twitchy is weird still!

    yes it definitley tickles adn down low. i feel a variety of movements, including kicks, tickles, rolls,etc.....

    Yes! This is totally what it feels like when I feel movement:)  Like my tummy is being tickled from the inside:) I can't wait for some more movement!!!

    Oh my gosh, this is exactly what I've been feeling! I've been trying to figure out how to describe it, and that is it! I'm still not certain if it's baby, or just muscles.."releasing" or something with my digestion (though most of my intestines seem to be much higher, now), but it's becoming more frequent and I'm starting to think it's baby...so exciting!
