AW: booked a romantic night out!

We need this.  We SO need this.

As some of you know I've been down in the dumps lately... well really this past year but it's gotten worse as Christmas approaches.  I just cannot get excited about the holidays this year... just thinking about decorating a tree makes me start shaking and crying.

SO... I made the executive decision to book an awesome suite at the W Austin for DH and I the night after Christmas.  My parents will watch the dogs, we're going to have a dinner by ourselves and just enjoy the night without thinking about work, chores, money, family, TTC, etc.  We'll sleep in, have breakfast overlooking Town Lake...

And if we so happen to tour Singapore (no pressure), I'll probably be Oing around that time. :)  But if our timing doesn't work out... I'm going to try my best not to even care.

You have no idea how much having something to look forward to, even if it's just this one little night on the town, means to me right now.

    I hope you have a really great time. I know it really sucks to feel like nothing is going your way. Do what you can this Christmas, and don't pressure yourself to do what you think you should.

    Sounds awesome.  I know what you mean about needing something to look forward to.  We booked our Nestie gift weekend for the second week in January and it gives me some shining light at the end of the tunnel.
