Help me settle a bet..

How much would you pay for this? Dh said one price and I thought it was low, but maybe I am sentimental because I made it and thought it was unique and cool. (It's a gift for a friend that is very religious) The top cross is chalkboard so she can write her list on it and it is about 20 inches tall. Her mom wants to sell them in her store and another store wants to carry them. So how much would you pay for it and if you say $5 I am going to kick you like I did DH.

    It looks really well made but I guess I don't understand the functionality of it? Like what kind of list would you write on a cross? (Sorry if I'm just being dense.....blame the pregnancy hormones!)

    Both crosses are made of wood. She can put it in her kitchen and write her grocery list on it or change out the scriptures on it. She does daily verses so I was thinking if all else she can hang it where she can see it and write her verses on it.

    IMO, if I saw that in one of those kitche (sp?) stores that I think it would be in, I would see it being sold for about $15.  I personally wouldn't buy one, but I'm not religious.  But, I think others who would shop in the type of store that would carry it would spend 12-15 on it.

    I would also say about $20.  I have seen similarly made crosses that you could not write on, that were just decoration, for about that price.  I would pay $20 for it.

    $20 to get me to buy it. I could see $30 being feasible but I'd be too cheap to pay that much.

    Yeah we are Jewish so I don't have the crosses in my house but my bff is very religious and I think she will appreciate it. Thanks for all the input ladies!

    i don't hang crosses in my house but i think $20 is reasonable.  i'd market them as a place to write scripture or your prayer request list to remember who/what you are praying for all day

    I agree around $20.  It's very pretty.  If I had any wall space I'd try to get you to make and sell me one. Smile

    Just wanted to ditto the bolded.  I think suggesting anyone write their grocery store list on it is, well, a bit offensive.  I was trying to think of something comparable to explain more, but I can't really come up with anything.

    We are religious and have several crosses. I really like it. It's not the type of thing I'd buy for myself, but I would as a gift. And if I received it as a gift I would just love it. I would say between $20-30 is what I'd expect to see it selling for.

    Actually, if you do end up selling them will you tell me where? I can see my SILs really liking this sort of thing for a birthday :)
