Pardon my phrasing and sentence structure here, running on next to no sleep...
I did a little googling today for daycare options and I'm having a hard time finding a good list for lack of a better word of private daycare options in the area. I would think with something that requires a government issued license there'd be some kind of database with recommendations and ratings but I might just be spoiled by the customer reviews on Sephora, Gap, et al. I'm basically trying to find a bunch of people to start researching, considering both group daycare and one-on-one options for when the little nugget shows up.
We're in Baltimore City, no appetizing daycare options at either employer, first of my friends to have a baby, and most of my child-bearing relatives are out of town.
Helps?
Re: Daycare search resources?
www.mdchildcare.org is a good place to start. You can search for both centers and in-home care through that site.
There used to be a link to a list of licensed providers but for the life of me, I can't find it.
ETA: Here's the link to look up a certain providers compliance with regulations.
