Mirena and spotting

Sorry to post and run...wish I had more time to stay and play. 

 

I know that there is typically about a month of spotting but I'm going on six weeks now and am OVER it. I'm so sick of it, it's annoying. I'm about to reach in there and pull it out.   Not really, but I'm that frustrated.

 Its been daily, sometimes heavy enough to warrant a tampon. Seriously, when will it end?  How much longer would you let this go on?

    When i got it 6 weeks pp, my spotting went on forever. A good 2 months maybe? So annoying b/c I didn't experience that when I got my first Mirena before baby. Sorry!

    no advice, but i'm right there with you. i've been spotting for a month now. sounds like the same as you, some days super light some days tampon worthy. it's annoying as hell and i'm waiting to start loving my mirena as so many other say they do theirs. but for now, i'm just annoyed too.

    I spotted for about 6-8 weeks once I had mine placed...but after that, nothing.  No spotting or AF for 2 more years until I had it removed.  Hang in there!!

    placement was super easy. basically like getting a pap. it didn't hurt at all for me. i was a little crampy for a few hours afterwards. then nothing for two weeks and then i started spotting. that's been going on for about a month. the info they give you says spotting is normal for 3-6 months after placement. i hope it's really not that long!

    Mine lasted almost 2 months initially, went away for 4 months and then started up daily-- especially after exercising. I had it taken out a few weeks ago. It just didn't agree with my body. :(
