Hi, very new to this site, 11 weeks pregnant with our very first baby! We are so excited but having SO much trouble finding a midwife or nurse midwife that is still practicing! We live in Central Indiana and are wanting to do a natural home waterbirth. If anyone has done this before with a midwife or knows of one and wants to share that number, I would appreciate it so much! Thanks!
Re: Trying to find a midwife for a homebirth
Here are a few resources I have found in my own research. We are relocating (back to) Indiana and will be in the Lafayette area when we decide to try for #2.

I'm not 100% sure on this b/c I went the c-section route with my DD, but I heard that the midwife center in Indy closed for some reason. That was last year, but things could have changed since then. If you can start from there, maybe you can find who used to run it, and ask her to recommend where you should go.
Also, I don't know if you are set on a home birth, but I know some of the hospitals around here also do water births. Good luck!
