I just ordered something yesterday for the first time from Amazon. It says it will be here between the 15-20. Is amazon pretty exact with their deliveries? I have no clue..I don't shop online lol.

As long as Amazon was the seller and not some other store on amazon the shipping dates should be pretty accurate. Once it actually ships it will update with an exact date.

The bolded is the important part. When I get stuff from Amazon it almost always comes on the first date they give. When I get stuff from other places through Amazon, it's anybody's guess... a couple years ago I received some stuff in freaking March.
I've always had good experience with other sellers. I just know that their tracking isn't usually quite as on par as Amazon's. I'm sure sellers know that people are buying these things for the holiday season and will be quick about it.
To clarify, like 90% of the time I've had no issues at all with non-amazonians on amazon. But amazon itself is 100% on point whereas other sellers, while usually hit, are occasionally miss.
Re: Ordering off of Amazon.
Yeah, they are good with shipping. I'd just keep an eye on the tracking of the delivery.
Shiit! It's from another seller
I have my fingers crossed for you! Hope you get it in time!
