dates, numbers and random connections
This all started in my head with a previous post about scheduled CS and due dates. Also a post someone made about full moon effect. It got me thinking...
Turns out lots of us January gals are scheduled for 01-12-12.
Lots of people believe that the full moon does effect PG women and more women go into labor on Full moons. Random factoid, most of my family have gone into labor naturally on full moons if not induced or CS'd.
Well, the full moon is 01-09-12. Anybody due around then who thinks the full moon might put you into labor?
My numbers:
Due 01-06-12. DD Bday is 01-09-09. Full moon is 01-09-12. scheduled RCS is 01-12-12. What are the chances.. do you think, that I could end up with another 01-09 baby? lol.

My EDD is 1/25. My mom's bday is 1/21. She had my sister on her 29th bday so sis's bday is 1/21 as well. Sis will be 29 this year. If my LO comes on 1/21 we'll have 3 generations of women born on that day, each 29 years apart. My family is literally praying that LO will be born on 1/21.
Not my numbers but numbers for my Sis: her bday is 1/21, her husband's bday is 3/21. Their anniversary is 8/21 and they open their Christmas presents on 12/21.
I feel with my luck this will be a Friday the 13th baby
DD was 4 days late so I think it's reasonable that this baby would be 3 days late.
I don't really want a friday the 13th baby even though I try to tell myself I'm not supersticious
Other than that I don't really care what date he comes on. If he decides to come in 2011 it'd be great for financial reasons but if he is truly to be in January then there is no specific date I want it to be!
I actually love the number 13. But I will admit that my mother was born on a Friday the 13th via a planned C-section and her life was full of one bad thing after another. So in honor of her, I hope to avoid that day, lol

No interesting number stuff here, but I'm hoping I go in to labor on or around the 9th. I'm due the 7th, but the 9th is our first day back to school from winter break. I really want to have this baby or be in labor so I don't have to go back until after spring break rather than teaching kindergarten at over 40 weeks pregnant.
But I don't want the L&D unit to be super full when I go in to labor because I want one of the rooms with the jacuzzi tub! Only 8 out of the 12 rooms have them, and they're first come, first serve.

Nothing wrong with 13. My hubby is april 13, he turned 13 on friday the 13th. our wedding was october 13. We would have set the RCS date for friday 13th but the Dr isnt in that day.
Well I was born on a new moon and so was my husband, so if my little girl decides to come a week early she'll be born on a new moon too (though, I already have a feeling she's going to be a late little bugger and come a week late on the Full Moon in Feb). Other then that her due date is right in the middle of my grandmother's birthdays. And if she comes late like I think she will, it will be a week before my nephew's birthday, so we'll see.
However, just as an added random connection, I was wearing a garnet ring when I conceived my LO, which is the January birthstone. Unfortunately, I lost it. (I was very very upset about this, since it was my grandmother's ring).
I've always said that if I could hope for a day to LO to come, it would be Jan 22 (two days before my EDD). The reasoning:
My birthday- June 22
DH's birthday- October 22
Our anniversary- September 22
I'd love another significant day on a 22nd!!
Another 1-12-12 RCS here....I'm hoping that IS the day.
I will be 38w 5d...and when I delivered my daughter (emergent CS) I was 38w 5d.
My daughter's bday is the 21st, so I like that this bday would be the reverse on the 12th.
I really don't want to wind up having my date pushed up an extra day not because I put any stock into "Friday the 13th", but as I told my Ob I think it would be a royal PITA to hear "OH! You were born on Friday the 13th!? HaHaHa..." your whole damn life.
Being that I'm already scheduled 9 days early I haven't really given any thought to delivering sooner, but I guess the full moon COULD throw a wrench in things. Just yesterday I had two coworkers tell me they didn't think I'd make it to the 12th...we'll see!
