S/O How many gifts question, birthdays

Do you do more for Christmas or birthdays? 

I find that for birthdays, we do one or two things, but most of his "gift" is actually the party we have for him or the day of fun we plan.  He gets a few gifts from grandparents, too.  He gets a lot at Christmas, though.  That's how I was raised, too.  You get like one or maybe two things for your birthday and then Christmas is crazy.

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

    Coop's only 2 so haven't really had too many birthdays to go by, but we tend to just do the same for birthday & Christmas!

    K gets more from us at Christmas, more from friends/family on birthday.

    I wasn't going to get her much for Christmas and I've already bought more than I planned..

    I can teach you how :)  I am selfish and would rather spend my money on me than on toys Stick out tongue

    Growing up both DH and I had bigger Christmas than birthday and I think it's because Christmas is everyone and there is a lot of keeping it "even" which means one or two more gifts here and there, and also there are more people buying.  Birthday is 1 or 2 gifts and a party/special day of celebration.  We tend to do more monetary gifts for neices/nephews on birthdays and more physical gifts on christmas.
