  I give mine a dirty house to clean ;-)

   

  Ours is brand new to us, so I might skip the "bonus" this year and just do a small GC for a gesture. But nothing says " love ya" like cash. I just try to do something cute with things like that. Or maybe a "pamper yourself" basket? Truffles? booze? lol.

  I don't know if you saw my response to M about how I can't give my cleaning lady a raise, but because of that, we give her $200 to $250 at Christmas.

  Years ago, when the price she charged me was considered "fair", I tipped her the amount of one cleaning visit.

   

  Me: PCOs DH: Perfect!

  We give her double her biweekly pay on the day that she cleans our house before Christmas. Always the right size and color! And I know she's got little ones who she is buying for too!

  Well, we have 2 and they are through a service. I usually tip them each $15 when they clean (and the cleaning itself costs $90 - they come every two weeks). For Christmas I was planning on giving them each $60 instead of $15, so 4x their usual tip.
