Thoughts on Gabriel

What are your thoughts on the Gabriel (maybe Gabe as a NN)?

My husband and I are having a hard time coming up with any names we love.  We like this one and are trying it on for size.

Also, which combo do you prefer?

Gabriel Alan (Husbands MN)

Gabriel William (my grandpa's name)

Gabriel Donald (my other grandpa's name)

    I like the name Gabriel and love the nn Gabe.

    Gabriel William is my favorite.

    It's my first boyfriend's name, so I have a soft spot for it. Things ended really well and we're still friends. He's the only Gabriel I've ever known IRL.

    I don't think he is MJ's husband, though. (That would be really weird.)

    I really love Gabriel, and I always have. I love the nn Gabe, too. Unfortunately, DH isn't a fan of it. He hasn't told me why, but I suspect it's because of a name association.

    Anyway, I think Gabriel Alan is best!

    I love the nn Gabe.  I think it is a great name.  I like the flow of Gabriel William the best out of your choices.

    I really like Gabriel and love the nn Gabe! I think I prefer Gabriel William.

    Gabriel was our boy name pick, but we are having a girl. So I love it. I don't like Gabe at all, but I knew if we had a boy (or for a future son) that some people would call him that.

    I like Gabriel William out of your choices the best.

    Gabriel was our boy name, but not a fan of the nn Gabe. We would have just called him Gabriel although I really liked the nn Gabby. DH hated that idea.

    LOVE Gabriel.  This is our top boys name.  We're 95% sure he will be Gabriel Lucas.  Our second choice is Isaiah.
