New (Buffalo)

Hi. I'm from Buffalo (currently in FL, military orders) I miss Buffalo a LOT though. Even though I don't personally believe the city of Buffalo is the place to raise a family, I miss my home. I'm from the west side. I went to Leonardo Da Vinci HS and I'm 20 years old. Me and my FH are expecting our first child together but this isn't my first pregnancy.

    I think Buffalo is a fantastic place to raise a family, but to each their own :)

    Welcome!  I am raising my little one on the West side of Buffalo, and it seems to be going just fine.  However, different strokes for different folks :)

    upper or lower? Luckily for me, I lived in upper west. I like the food on the lower west...and the nail shops but glad my mother had me up by grant. I lived about 2 blocks from richmond. The only thing I worry about is job security...Safety in schools. The first time I watched the news for the CITY of buffalo they had evacuated Grover because they found a gun on a student and another in someones locker...on the first day of school...I can only protect my children so much..I've seen middle school children carrying knives to school because they're afraid they'll be attacked...I went to middle/elementary school in the surburbs. HS was my first taste of the city life lol. culture shock.....unfortunatly I grew accustomed to that life even though I NOW am aware I very easily could have avoided it. Yes. I have a nearly 8 year old...it's a long story but I wouldn't want it any other way. He's amazing! lol best kid EVER..well for me..he's like my mini me, but looks just like his dad lol it's the funniest thing to me...He'll def talk your ear off though
