I created my custom 8 X 11 book, the credit is in my account and it is not applying.  The live agent person is telling me my credit is for 8" x 11" Custom Jacket Photo Book. That item does not exist.  A custom cover exists. A dust jacket one exists. I must be a moron for paying attention to the word "custom".

 She wants me to place my order for $45+ and she'll credit me, but she doesn't know if that'll be a credit card refund or a store credit. 

ETA: After a live chat of nearly 30 minutes she put a credit for the custom cover book saying one of their "executives" made a mistake in the credit I was given.  Please.

 And another edit...my sister's account is for a free photo book.  Nothing about custom anything.  Make sure you're doing the right type of book before you create it.

  • Not to downplay your experience, but I just received a huge credit from them when I didn't quite like our holiday photo cards.

    They credited me the entire cost back and didn't make me return my order.  I just finished re-cropping the photo and sending in another order.  With free shipping, it was zero dollars and zero cents.

    I'm sure the photo book is one huge mother headache though.  So many people took advantage of that.  Their Customer Service employees in India didn't see it coming :)

  • :( I've never tried the Snapfish books but I've had tons of luck with the Shutterfly ones. I've made several of those books. Glad they're going to credit you.
