adult birthday party venue

I'm looking for a restaurant to possibly host DH's 40th birthday party.  Any recommendations?  We are in Marietta.  

I was thinking of doing it at home, but I can't really shop, prep and cook for a party without him figuring out what I'm up to.  If I do a restaurant, he won't be on to meuntil after the party.

It'll be a small group, 10-15 adults plus our kids.

    When I read the title of the post, I thought Pink Pony. Lol. Maybe look into restaurants located in the square?

    You could also do the Warren which is above the Dark Horse in the Highlands.

    I had a party for dh at Gordon Biersch (on Peachtree) a few years ago.  I ordered some apps, and they had a bartender upstairs for us (cash bar).  I'm sure there are other options as far as menu goes, but we had a blast and it was semi private.

    I don't know about your area, but over here Wahoo! and Sun In My Belly are great for parties.

    We had my father in laws 60th birthday party at Ippolito's in Norcross. We love the private area with a big fireplace. It was so affordable too. People can order off of the menu. Being a big patio and private, it was a great place for parties with kids.

    How about Henry's upstairs there is a room with a bar. I have been to a few events there and it is fun! Also Buca Di Beppo in Roswell.

    We've done a few private events at Sugo's off of Roswell Rd.  It's free to have a private room and everyone orders off the menu (at least it was in the Spring the last time I hosted an event there)

    Not sure if you want to come to Midtown, but Loca Luna has a great party room and the food is always great.
