Idiot question - best blog reader site?

I think I'm the last person on earth to set up a blog reader / rss feed of some sort for blogs I read. What's the best site to use / way to go about it? Thanks. - quite certain I also had a lobotomy during my csection...

  • I can't really give a comparative analysis because I'm a creature of habit and have only ever used one, but I flove google reader. It's all linked up with my other google stuff and it does what I expect it to do. I keep up with so many blogs this way :)

  • I think I'm the only one on here that doesn't use Google. I have always used Net Newswire lite. Old habits die hard..

My new favorite word. I don't just love it, I flove it. It's the got the puffy heart vibe to it.

  • I have all my subscriptions set up in Google Reader, but I actually do the reading with FeedSquares.  It's so much easier on the eyes!  I use it via a Chrome extension on my computer, and via the FeedSquares app on my Android phone.

ETA:  FeedSquares accesses your Google Reader and just redisplays it in a nicer way.  Don't think I explained that very well.

haha, I know what you mean. I know the "f" is supposed to stand for a not so nice word, but in my head it's more like love but fluffier. And with glitter.

  • I've used google reader for years, and also flove'd it (and i'm also adopting this word into my vocab). They recently did a redesign which drives me batty, so I'd like to switch to something new but just haven't had the time to seek something else out. Maybe if you're approaching G.Reader as a noob, it'll be fine for you. I'm just picky regarding user interface.
