1. He is kind, not just to me and our daughter, but in general. He's not mean-spirited and doesn't make fun of people (but he does tease a lot). [Although just this second he said, "Why do you keep playing Angry Birds? You're not good at it." Jerk.]
2. He supports me and helps me to do and be my best and always has. And accepts me as I am without asking me to change in any real way (even if he would like me to be a bit neater).
3. I feel content when I am with him. He is the only person I've ever known who can make me feel calm and relaxed.
1) He loves God more than me! Because of that he follows God's will in loving me.
2) He works hard at work and at home, bring home the bacon!
3) He is constantly finding ways to please me.
1. He's an amazing father & makes me a better mom.
2. Since day 1 I've always been completely comfortable around him. He gets me better than anyone else and loves all my ridiculous quirks that drive my family crazy.
3. I know he would never willingly do anything to hurt or disappoint me.
MrsLynnyD I'm sorry you're having a hard time with your H. I hope things get better soon for both of you. I also hope you can add some things to your list that make you both happy.
Im sorry you are having a rough time. I have questioned my marriage plenty of times, but I do know that he loves us. He works his butt off so I dont have to work full time and never complains about it. He's a good father. He makes me laugh, and I do enjoy his company.
This weekend we decided to have a weekend of "Mr. Marsam and Mrs. Marsam" We decided to do a few things that we havent done in ages and get back to the people we used to be. Both of us get so wrapped up in the day to day, and bickering. We went out to lunch (we never do that) at our fave place. We watched a movie we havent seen in years, and played some silly video game that we used to play when we were dating. It was just nice to spend time together, rather than rushing from here to there.
3 reasons for staying with the wo-man in my life.
1.She is the most generous person I know.
2.She adores our daughter and strives to be the best parent she can be.
3.She loves me so much and is constantly showing me how much.
1. He's the best friend I've ever had. Even though there are times where we annoy each other, I have the most fun when I'm with him, even trapped in a car for 3 days on a snow covered highway (which says a lot, IMO).
2. He doesn't make decisions without considering E and I. He would much rather be out of the military now and going to school but he feels staying in and making a career is the best way he can support our family.
3. He's an amazing father. Now that he's on leave and actually home during the day, he spends the majority of the day playing with E and trying to teach her new things. It melts my heart seeing him get so excited over the little things she does.
1- He loves being a dad and it shows in everything he does with our son. He gets so excited to teach him new things and the look of pride when DS learns it is- priceless. Especially for a man who acts like he's tough as a rock. He melts for this kid.
2- He loves me and it's very evident. Yeah; he's childish sometimes and likes to pester me- but deep down he's just doing what his man-mind tells him would be best to try and make me smile when I'm having a rough day. Sometimes it works, and I know he puts a lot of effort into trying to ease my stress- successful or not....
3- We have a great life together. We may not always see eye-to-eye on the big issues, but we work through them. There are arguments, but we come out of them a little tougher/understanding the other person just a little bit more.
