I really wanted to buy DD a Leappad for Christmas, but it seems like they are sold out everywhere. I set up an alert to let me know when they are in stock, but they sell out within minutes. So, I was thinking that maybe I will get her an IPod Touch instead. With the 10% off coupon at Target, and the $25 gift card, I should be able to buy it for $150 (minus the gift card amount of course). This isn't much more than the Leappad after you factor in games. My only fear is that it will be too "advanced" for her. What do you all think?
Re: iPod Touch in Lieu of the Leappad
If you are going to go a video game route, I think it's a great option when you factor in the Target discounts and the fact that Leappad games are pricey.
Target also has a deal coming up in the next couple days where you get a $10 gift card when you spend $50 or more.

Would you mind sharing if the 10% coupon and $25 gift card are ongoing offers? Do you happen to have a link? Thanks!

We got ds a ipod touch when he was 2.5 years old. He completely mastered it by 3 and now he knows how to play the games better that DH or I.
~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~
