I'm 36 weeks today!!! 1 more week until I'm full term - yay
I'm feeling pretty crappy. I barely sleep anymore which sucks. My contractions are getting more painful and happen all day long.
I'm on weekly dr appts x2. I go to my OB and the perinatologist, I have another growth scan this Thursday.
At last week's appt, I was 2cm and 70% effaced.
We celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas, not sure we're really doing anything for Hanukkah this year because we usually host dinner but that's not happening. Christmas Eve we'll go to my aunt's house and Christmas morning to my parents' house.
How far along are you today? 34 weeks! I still feel like I have forever to go. I am getting a little downtrodden about that.
How are you feeling? So tired all the time!
Any new aches or pains? It hurts to move. I am having a hard time wrapping presents. Definitely a lack of motion. Hubs has to help me get up from the floor and the couch all the time.
Dr appt this week? Wednesday, I am sure I am going to be scolded about weight gain...
Anything we missed last week? I put my resignation in on Friday. Crazy!
Any holiday plans? Work is getting in the way of all my holiday parties. I am very upset.

I'm 33 weeks today, which is kind of freaking me out. I feel like time is going by so quickly, especially when I think that I am due NEXT MONTH (albeit the end of the month). There is still so much to be done!
I'm feeling great, actually. After being so sick for the first 25 weeks, I'm grateful to not have any crazy symptoms right now. Sleeping could be a little better as it's hard to find a comfy spot and my hips really bother me. Kicking both dogs out of the bed in the middle of the night seems to help though.
I had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and everything looks good. My weight seems to have leveled off as I've only gained 2 pounds at each of my last 2 appointments. My doctor said that's good but also reminded me that I've still gained 30 lbs, so I shouldn't allow myself to go too crazy now.
Holiday related: we did our maternity/Christmas photos today and they were so much fun. They were up in the mountains, in the snow, with our two dogs. I can't wait to see how they turned out.

How far along are you today? 36 weeks! I'm so excited to be getting so close! But then there are moments of realization that this baby will need to come out at some point and then I freak out a little bit.
How are you feeling? Generally pretty good, except for the aches and pains.
Any new aches or pains? YES! Oh my god, my hips and pelvis hurt more often than not these days and it sucks.
Dr appt this week? Yep! Thursday and then I'm week-to-week!
Anything we missed last week? Not really.
Any holiday plans? We're having Christmas at my aunt's house nearby, and it'll be nice not to have to prep for that. We are having a cookie exchange party at our house for our whole neighborhood next Sunday and I'm really excited.

How far along are you today? 35 weeks
How are you feeling? Pretty good. I get unpredictable sharp pains in my pelvis which sort of sucks but I really can't complain, I think I've had a pretty easy pregnancy.
Any new aches or pains? For some reason I get more "cracky pelvis" when I get up in the middle of the night.
Dr appt this week? Yup, Thursday and then it's every week. I already have them scheduled through the end of the year. Need to schedule them for January but I figure I can do that while I wait on Thursday. I have to admit I'm excited to go weekly (that's probably a naive FTM comment) because it makes it seem closer!
Anything we missed last week? Nope
Any holiday plans? Normally we'd be going to my in-laws but I'm refusing to travel this year. My mom and brother are coming for the holidays and then my in-laws will come for 1 day afterward. I think my MIL is a little sad that we won't be home for the holidays at their place but I just can't do it this year. Being with them is a bit stressful for me (just a personality thing) and I don't want to be hours from my doctor.
Currently back stateside but missing Kenya!
How far along are you today? 34 weeks! 6 weeks still feels very short, especially given everything I want to get done between now and the when the baby actually comes (which in my mind, 6 weeks could be more like 3-4 weeks for all I know!). Every FTM I know in the past year or so has been several weeks early so that only adds to my urgency!
How are you feeling? Surprisingly still feeling pretty good. Tired and don't have my normal stamina, but much better than I expected.
Any new aches or pains? Same end of day back pain, love my heating pad!
Dr appt this week? Appt is Friday, looking forward to hear my measurements and hear her heartbeat.
Anything we missed last week? I had a surprise shower at work Friday and got so many great gifts. I'm officially finishing my registry now and am super excited to finally buy some cute things myself!
Any holiday plans? We're having our annual holiday outing at work, bowling! It's typically pretty fun. My team is the "80's Ladies"...I'll be dressing up like Madonna. It should be pretty funny.
How far along are you today? Today I am 33 weeks.
How are you feeling? I am only feeling ok. I had a scare on Friday. I started having some lower back pain and it wouldn't go away. Then I noticed a small amount of brown discharge. I got home from work and lay on my side and chugged water for a few hours and it didn't go away. I had my midwife paged and she asked me to come to the birth center. When I got there she hooked me up to the monitors and I was having contractions. I was sent to the hospital. They tried to do a FFN but because of all of the brown discharge (we are guessing it was old blood, who knows from what) it couldn't be sent. I had a cervical ultrasound and my cervix was 2.26cm instead of over 3cm, which they wanted to see. I am now on Procardia every 6 hours and have to follow up with an OB tomorrow. I was going to make this my own post but didn't want to AW too much!
Any new aches or pains? The pain from the contractions is gone but I am having some hip pain. I have no idea whether it is related to my issue.
Dr appt this week? Yes. New OB tomorrow and midwife on Tuesday for a scheduled appointment. I am praying this stays controlled and I can still have my birth center birth if (no WHEN) I make it past 37 weeks.
Anything we missed last week? Don't think so.
Any holiday plans? We have our families in the area, so we will probably just see everyone over the course of the weekend.

How far along are you today? 34 weeks!
How are you feeling? I feel great, but I am really, really tired out from the past two weeks. Everything should be slowing down now so I am looking foward to some time to relax and actually breathe.
Any new aches or pains? Just the same hip pain when I sleep.
Dr appt this week? My appt was this past week. Everything looks good although I lost a pound. Just means I gotta try harder over the holidays I guess.
Anything we missed last week? Nope.
Any holiday plans? We had our annual Christmas party on Saturday and while it's a lot of fun I am SO happy it's over. My husband's birthday is this week so probably something with the family then something with the friends.
How are you feeling? Overall I feel good, went to prenatal yoga today and worked out some tension in my back and hips. I finished baby laundry this weekend, and today we finally got our tree and I went out and bought new ornaments, so I'm feeling accomplished and exhausted.
Any new aches or pains? I'm definitely feeling pelvic pressure at the end of the day. Otherwise I can't complain.
Dr appt this week? No, had one last week, and I didn't get an internal, so I'm really hoping everything's fine until my next appt Dec. 21. And hoping he stays head down.
Any holiday plans? My family is coming to us, which should be fun, and my mom is staying a few days to help me get ready, which I am looking forward to. This is my first holiday w/ DH as newlyweds, so it feels pretty special.
