Are you going to be "doing" something at LO's party? I plan on having food, cake, and opening presents, but I don't know if I need to have some sort of activity planned to keep people entertained. We are planning on having it at our house, and I am picturing everyone just sitting around bored out of their minds.

Re: Birthday Party Activities?
Nothing really, for DS we didn't do anything for 1 or 2 and everyone had more fun chatting and eating and watching the kids play.
We may do pin the tail on the Lambie as a goof, and we're letting people take their own photos with Lambie. We'll have her 52 weeks photos up too. Those are mostly icebreakers though. Honestly, I'm kind of expecting dramaaaz so I don't want a lot of stuff that's going to make everyone hangout together as a group.
My gay aunts, H's fundie brother and H's dad who doesn't speak with said brother are all coming. Hoooorray.
We didn't have activities for Aiden's 1st or 2nd. Of course it was July so the kids played outside and ran around. Our playroom is a den off the kitchen, so whenever kids are over they keep themselves occupied in there pretty well.
So I'll have food, present opening and cake eating. In that order and then people just hang out, chat and enjoy watching all the kiddos play.
That's a lot of kids to have running around the restaurant. Hopefully it won't be to busy or you have a party room for it? Hopefully it's not too stressful for you!
Hopefully the drama stays to a minimum!
Bring the portable DVD player you're getting for H (or a laptop) and put on a movie at a kids table with some coloring books.
