Local CD Mamas?

H and I are very interested in CDs, but I would like to learn more about them so we can make an informed decision about what to buy.

Is there a local store or other resource where we could find more information? I have been reading through the FAQs on the CD board on the bump, but still feel overwhelmed.

Where did you get your CDs? Amazon? CL?

    Go to Soft and Cozy Baby in Hampden, they are amazing and can answer most of your questions.  They have cloth diapering classes that you can take too!  If you have any specific questions, I would be happy to try and help :)

    I bought most of mine used from Jillian's Drawers and Diaper Swappers. I have a ton I am selling if you decide that's the route you want to go. I lurked on the CD board here.

    Greenberries in Columbia also has a cloth class.

    I was going to suggest Greenberries as well. 

    Initially (when DD was an infant so 3+ yrs ago) I bought a bunch of diapers 2nd hand off of diaperswappers. Then when I knew what worked for us I tracked down those diapers new and on sale.

    Zulily.com has diapers on sale from time to time. I have bought some fuzzibuns through them and we really like them.

    I have also bought some 2nd hand via craigslist and even got a really bunch of diapers off of freecycle.

    I def recommend Soft and Cozy.  They have diaper 101 type of class (I took it back in October).  They are free and give you a ton of information on all the different types.  I bought a couple from them so far...   I know cottonbabies and jillian drawers are suppose to be good too.

    Ditto the classes. I have bought some used from Greenberries and Jillians drawers. I've gotten some free from friends/acquaintances and I've bought new from Amazon, Babysteals, Blueberries and Soft and Cozy baby. It's nice to see what is available and then purchase.

    Thanks! I just registered H and I for the CD 101 class on Sunday at Soft & Cozy Baby.  Thankfully the Ravens play Sunday night.
