Please tell me a little more about this whole natural birth idea. Of course I know what it is and have read several pregnancy books on it, but I'd like to hear about it from a natural birth advocate. Pros, cons, etc. Sometimes I think of myself as selfish for wanting an epidural. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I work in Labor and Delivery. maybe hearing the screaming moms that do not get the epidurals has swayed me to get one....either way-i'm sold on them.

I've gotta say, childbirth and mothering sounds like quite a process in itself, I'm going for the epidural. But those who choose to go natural I think its a great choice if its the right thing for you.

Natural birth has nothing to do with trying to be a champ. Do your research, make the decision that's best for you. We don't want natural births because we want medals.

Yup, I know I dont do well in extreme pain situations so I know it is best for me.
