Age for clogs? (girls)

DD is obsessed with my Dansko clogs and with heels in general. I saw some cute girls' clogs in the latest Hanna Anderson catalogue and was contemplating getting DD a pair for Christmas. However, even though they come in her size, I'm not sure how easy/safe it would be for her to walk in them. Any thoughts on when clogs are appropriate footwear for little girls?

    we have not yet, but my almost 6y/o wants the leopard print ones. lol.

    My DD had a pair of Crocs which I know are different, but she tripped and hit her forehead on a table at school (granted she was only 2), but I'm going to be wary of letting her wear shoes like that for a while.  I'll probably wait until she's a lot less clumsy, lol.
