No intercourse for awhile :(

We haven't had sex in 6 weeks and I'm getting so sexually frustrated. I've been bleeding/spotting/cramping throughout and was advised to abstain from sex for awhile. I feel like I want it all the time, though, and he doesn't want it at all.

We are going to wait until the 2nd trimester just to be careful (starting my 9th week tomorrow). I just miss the intimacy with MH.

    I've had some cramping and was told I could resume normal sexual activity but I am just too scared too! I'm on the same boat it's been quite awhile. Maybe you want it so bad b/c they told you you couldn't? That would probably happen to me! Maybe you could try "Other Stuff" to remain close?

    Sorry to hear this.. I am in the same boat.. This PG I had had not spotting to speak of till today after intercourse... I now have very mild cramping.. I think I will wait till 2nd tri for anymore sexual activity..  I totally understand the fear of doing it--yet wanting to do it for the intimacy reasons.. good Luck, hopefully you will be able to proceed soon.. Hoping for no more spotting or cramping either... Best of Luck, keep us posted..

    I mostly have no sex drive, but when I do...OH BOY! I guess I can wait a couple more weeks. I'm just afraid that both MH and I will never get back to our normal sex life.

    After my bleeding in week 7, my doctor wants me on pelvic rest until week 14! Yikes!

    I've been on pelvic rest since 5w, so 4 weeks now, and my OB said I have to wait 3 weeks from any more spotting. We were down to only 2 more weeks! And then Wednesday we had to restart the time clock! I've been spotting once per week like clockwork, and at this point I don't forsee any sex until next August! It's making my DH cranky, and I'm feeling frustrated! Ugh! Right there with you, sister!

    Yup pelvic rest here till 10 weeks...sucks, but not much urge now anyway.

    Our OB hasn't put us on pelvic rest but out of fear of spotting DH and I have chosen to wait until 2nd tri to have sex. There have been a few times when I have really wanted it, but then thinking about doing it freaks me out that I would be all nervous and wouldn't be able to enjoy it anyways. Not to mention, I have felt like crap every night for the past few weeks thanks to "morning" sickness" so the act of it would probably make me want to throw up!
