I thought the pickle cravings were a myth

I woke up at 3AM last night and needed pickles. We didn't have any, so I went to the 24 hour convenience store in my pajamas and bought a jar. FI woke up as I sat in the kitchen alternating between a bite of pickle and a spoonful of peanut butter. Lol, I've never seen such a disgusted look.

    Oh yeah, there was a sale at Big Y back in November on pickles and I stocked up. My mom came over and looked in my fridge and asked if all the pickles were for some sort of pickle dish for Thanksgiving. Nope, all for me. Yummy.

    I'm totally obsessed with them now too and I've never really liked them. My husband used the last of the pickles on a sandwich the other day and I almost hurt him.

    I'm loving everything pickled as well and am all over the salt- we keep our fridge well stocked!  Although I have to say I have never had bites with peanut butter :)

    I am so loving pickles too! Thankfully my husband doesn't like them, so they are ALL mine!! :) Although I must say, thinking about eating them with something else makes my stomach churn. Haha!

    OMG! I used to eat peanut butter sandwiches with pickles on the side. So yummy. My favorite pickles are the good kosher Klaussen ones they sell in the refrigerated/deli section. We also call them "white pickles" because they aren't that weird yellow/green color.

    24 hour convenience stores were made just for pregnant women, I swear.  We have one too and it has made all the difference! :) 

    Did I read your tickers correctly?  You're 16 weeks pregnant, getting married in a few weeks AND moving?  No wonder you're craving pickles :)  Good luck with all of that... I'm impressed!

    Thank you! It's hectic to say the least, but it needs to get done. FI is good enough to be handling the move and a lot of last minute wedding stuff (with the help of my matron-of-honor) while I finish finals so he should get the credit for things going so smoothly.

    The other night I got such a craving for a pickle with spicy mustard on it.  So gross, I couldn't bring myself to eat it.  I just had a pickle and thats all I needed to satisfy that craving. :-)

    With all 3 of my pregnancies I "had" to have  the zesty pickles and I mean HAD. They were all early cravings though so now I have a jar of zesty pickles in my fridge that makes to want to hurl everytime I see them.

    I have been craving pickles for the past month.  And olives too.  I love love love them.  I probably eat at least five pickles every day, it's crazy!
