Midwife on the South Shore?

I?m about 6 weeks pregnant and looking for recommendations of a midwife associated with South Shore Hospital.  I?d like to schedule my first appointment before the new year.  Can anyone offer some recommendations?  Or conversely, anyone to avoid?  J

    I used the midwives at South Shore Women's Health with my pregnancies.  I would definitely recommend them. They have 4 offices - Weymouth, Duxbury, Scituate, and Whitman.  They also have Dr.'s, so if there are any problems, you can get referred to one of their docs.  Mary and Deb are probably my two favorite midwifes there, but they're all good.  My daughter was delivered by somone who is no longer there (she was great, though) but Carrie delivered my son, and she made it such a calm, peaceful atmosphere.

    I am 36 weeks pregnant and go to South Shore Womens Health as well. They are all really great and I would highly recommend. Good luck and congratulations!

    I too go to SSWH. I've been to two appointments in Weymouth so far and think they're awesome! I've heard really great things about them as well. Good luck!
