I am on Prime and have my referral. I called to set up my appointment. They have not received my referral. I had some trouble getting the referral in the first place and called the referral office. They redirected me to the 888-Navy-Med line, who then redirected me to Health Net Services.
I have been calling Health Net every day since last Friday. Each time they say they will re-fax my referral. I even checked with my doctor and gave Health Net the correct fax number. My referral is not getting there and I cannot set up my appointment without it. I don't know who else to call, since everyone I talk to seems helpful, but nothing is happening.
Would going down to the Tricare office help straighten this out?

Thank you for that response. I didn't know such a thing existed since I've never had this problem before.
This last time finally did it, though. They need to call my PCM and get their referral, though, so I still have to wait until Monday, which is what I was trying to avoid.
Would the patient advocate be the person to call to complain about this? I'm not usually one for complaining, but this appointment literally took me a month to get when my OB told me I needed to be seen within two weeks. To me, that is ridiculous when someone's health is in limbo.
Call your primary care doctor and tell them the refferal never went through and they will reissue one.
