How many ounces does your 8 month old eat at one feeding?

Just curious.

LO eats 8 ounces at each sitting, and sometimes I think she could eat a little more.

Plus she eats solids 2-3x a day. Usually 4oz at each feeding, but once again, she eats the 6oz jars like a champ too. I don't know how she can be so hungry!

DS has four 7 oz. bottles a day (he doesn't always finish them) and probably about the same about of solids as your DD. I wouldn't worry about how much she eats as long as the pedi is happy with her growth. Some babies eat less and some eat more.

I always worry whether my baby is getting enough, too. She only eats 6 oz. at a time, but she has a bottle every 3-4 hours, and solids twice a day. She never really acts hungry when she is finished and she weighs over 20 pounds, so I guess she's fine! (oh--and she is closer to 9 months than 8, if that helps).

My lo eats anywhere from 3-7oz per feeding, just really depends!

She drink four 7-8 oz bottles a day, and three 4 oz baby foods. Pretty much we feed her something about every 2 1/2 hours. We do a bottle, then a couple of hours later baby food with a sippy of water, then a couple of hours later a bottle, etc.

I feel like I really need to start working with her more on using a sippy (just really started to use it a lot more this week) and with finger/table foods.

I can't get him to eat more than 6oz in a feeding.

He's 7+ months, but usually he'll drink 4 or 5 oz of his 7 oz bottle and then finish the rest a little bit later when he's going down for his nap. Sometimes he'll suck the whole 7 oz down in one sitting, but usually he takes a little break. I think he's just more distracted and before his nap is like "oh crap, the lights are off and I'm tucked in! I'd better finish it".

four 8 oz bottles (down from 5 about a month ago). he was eating 4 - 5 oz of solids at breakfast and dinner, but recently has been refusing more than 2 oz. I think it's b/c of teething and/or lots of motor skill developments going on, I hope.

My dd drinks 5 8 oz bottles a day, although I would say 2 of them she doesn't finish.

The most she eats at one time is 7 oz. for the first feeding. Other times it's more like 3-5. She doesn't drink very much.

We tried 8 oz. per feeding for a couple of weeks, but he was consistently leaving about 2 oz., so we dropped him to 6 oz. 4x per day. He also eats about 4 containers of solids, plus yogurt and oatmeal each day, typically.
