Sorry if I missed a post from you but I have been thinking about you and your girls since you posted about your follow up appointment. How are you doing?

Thanks for thinking of us! Ella did not have a stroke!!! She does have an occluded vein her leg that if causing the growth restriction. So more test, more pt, added OT, and more specialists. But the good news is that is we are on a wait and see what happens status for the next 6 months. So it is not an emergent situation!

Oh, that is great news. That was really scary for you. I hope Ella does well with her PT and OT.

    ~~butting in~~

Cait - I just saw your reply from the other day.  Did you ever find out anything about the PC Brand of Neosure?

I'm so glad that Ella didn't have a stroke.  Hopefully PT/OT will be able to help with the stiffness in her leg.

Sail - I saw your post about self-feeding on Multiples. I give the boys pieces of really ripe fruit.  We've had a few choking episodes, but once they figured it out it's been much better.

Some kids have issues with fruit that's slippery and slimy.  You may want to dust the fruit in cheerio dust or something similar to help them with the grip.

We started with larger items - carrot sticks, green beans, mum mums.  Once they mastered that, I cut the food into smaller pieces.
