Is there anyone with a healthy template of their diet to share? I feel like I am not eating the healthiest. I found this, but I would love to hear any and all suggestions.
I'm anxious to hear the responses. I feel like I don't get enough nutrition even though I still take the prenatal vitamin. It's just so difficult because I'm not allowed dairy, I've cut down my soy and I *used* to be a vegetarian. I'm forcing myself to eat meat to get some extra protein!

I am not the healthiest but here is my diet:
--prenatal vitamin, 600 mg D3, 1250 mg DHA/EPA, 250mg cDP Choline;
--breakfast I have yogurt (goat milk) with granola + flax seed or steel cut oats
--lunch is usually a soup/sandwich/salad combination
--dinner is either free range chicken or beef (the nutritional content is better in free range) with a veggie and starch.
I also eat lots of cookies!!

I read somewhere, (I am not quickly finding the link right now, but I'll post it if I find it) that as far as your baby's nutrition it doesn't matter much what you eat. It was something about studies done in poor countries where the moms diet is very poor, but the breastfed babies nutrition was the same as moms who have good diet.
Of course, it is always good to make healthy choices if that is what you just want to do.

I've heard this too.
Same here. I try to eat semi-healthy, for my own sake. But I don't really worry about the nutritional value of my milk.
Lunch: I usually eat out, something terrible for me like chicken fingers or a hamburger. Tea
Snack: cookies, or popcorn or veggies, sometimes a kids meal water
Dinner: it varies between chicken beef turkey or pork. I don't discriminate I love meat lol. Then a veggie and a starch. For example; last night my mom made a German goulash, it was pork butt and saukraurt on top of potatoes. Yum!

Ditto. I try to eat healthy, but pretty much the same as I did pre-pregnancy. The only things I try to limit/avoid are caffeine, alcohol, and avoid drugs (I don't have any prescriptions, but I avoid OTC drugs as well).

Drugs are bad.
LOL, I couldn't resist. Going back to when I used to watch South Park.
