DH brought up the idea of taking DD to The Nutcracker but I'm worried that she wouldn't be able to sit all the way through it.
Do you guys have any other ideas of holiday type events/shows that for 3 yr olds?
I've looked up the Scottish Rite Children's Theatre already... anything else?
Re: Looking for Christmas events/shows to attend... any ideas?
You're in the same boat we are. MIL is insisting that she have a holiday event with DD when they get into town next weekend and everything's sold out (children's Nutcracker at Doughtery Arts Center, North Pole Flyer, etc.). We're doing the Scottish Rite Theater, but she had wanted the real Nutcracker. DD is almost 3.5, and I know the second act she'd love, but she has to sit through the whole first one, which would never happen.
I'm taking her to the Teddy Bear Tea at the Four Seasons this weekend, but it's a splurge I want to make for tradition's sake, so may not be what you're looking for either.
Round Rock is having a holiday event tonight.
Unless your DD has a really long attention span, the Nutcracker is probably too long for her. My DH could barely sit through it, and he likes plays and musicals.
