DS was sent home from daycare today with a fever of 101.6. He just seems kind of out of it but not complaining about any particular pain/ickiness. Gave him some motrin and now he's napping on the sofa, but the fever hasn't budged. Anyone else dealing with this? Any idea what it could be? Looks like our busy weekend will end up being a stay-around-the-house type instead (no complaints!!)
Re: Is there something going around?
The pedi said they were seeing a lot of kids with 3-5 day fevers with no other symptoms.
DD has been a little "off" this week and has been sleeping like a champ. DCP woke her up from a 3.5
hour nap yesterday because she was worried about her. She had a mild fever - 100.5 - Wednesday morning and I kept her home because I was certain she was coming down with something, but she's been happy, playing - just sleeping more than normal. She has a condition that causes her to get more UTIs so we have her on daily preventive antibiotics so it's possible she and the drugs are fighting off something. DH was sick most of this week.
