At least your getting some! My nausea has been awful and hormones are all over the place. I think my hubby and I have only had sex once since our bfp! But yes, that one time I did have some cramping afterwards... It's normal. I cramped a little before I was pregnant too. Also your cervix is a little more sensitive these days with all the vascular changes... So yes sex can make you spot just a little. If it is a lot, you can always call your doc for reassurance.
1. Cramping after orgasm is very normal. As we get bigger, it'll turn into contractions after orgasm. That's why they say sex can induce labor.
2. Very light spotting/bleeding is also normal after sex however, if you're really worried about it (and the clot bothers me a little), you should definitely call your doctor. I'm 99% sure you're fine because it's normal and you haven't had anything else since, but if it were me, the clot would be my cue to call the doc. DISCLAIMER: I have been one of the lucky ones to have absolutely zero bleeding so far and after all the stuff I've been reading here from other posters, the clot would bother me. Also, my doc told me to call him with any sign of bleeding. If you're more confident than I am (and if all the others here say it's perfectly normal), then don't worry about it.
To answer both of your questions, yes. Both are extremely normal. I also has a small clot after sex one day and freaked out. I called my OB. She said that its very normal. All the moving and poking and stretching just can bump somethings and its nothing to worry about. She said if there are a few or it is painful then to call her. As for the cramping, it happened to me more in the beginning of the first Tri but hasn't been happening as much now.
I've heard condoms are a good idea in the first tri-but can't remember where I heard that from or if it's true.
I asked my OB about this cause I was paranoid and afraid the swimmers would attack the baby or something. lol She said as long as you are only sleeping with your husband (or I would assume any monogamous relationship) there is no chance of catching an STD and the mucus plug, placenta, etc protects the baby so don't worry about condoms.
I haven't noticed it with this pregnancy but my last one I would cramp at first and then as my ute got bigger I felt it contracting with the O. Very strange feeling. It certainly makes you much more aware of your uterus.
I can speak to the cramping. It freaks me out so much that sometimes I avoid getting to the point where it's an issue. But I definitely think it's normal!
I called my OB, just to be safe and am waiting to hear back so we'll see! Hopefully, they tell me it's nothing to worry about unless I see more clotting. T&P's, please!
So the nurse said it's normal but wants me to get my blood drawn so I know what blood type I am as well as finding out if I'm RH positive or negative. That's fine but the downside is that I won't have the results until Mon., so now I have alllll weekend to think about it. She also told me, "nothing in the vagina" until my appt on 12/21. DH will love that, lol.
Groan, I'm not getting any either. I've totally lost that lovin' feelin'. No idea when it'll be back.
This is me. We haven't done it since BFP. Thank God DH loves me for more than just that. I feel bad, but I'm just so nauseated and/or tired and have been going to bed so early.

Me! My husband gets back from sea on Wednesday. He's been surrounded by men for a little while! I know he's going to be begging. I dont even know how to explain to him how much I don't got that feelin! Poor guy lol
Well when you do decide to, pregnant sex is AWESOME! fyi, TMI probably lol!

Glad I'm not the only one...but my cramps can be pretty painful. Hubby started wearing a condom so the cramps have decreased significantly (I read semen has a chemical in it that causes the cramps). But, if I O, then I'm in for at least 30 min of painful cramps (and sometimes they don't start until I've already fell asleep in the afterglow so they wake me up). No bleeding for me yet. About 2 wks ago, I was too tired to want any "special" attention, but now the hormones are kicking...but the O just isn't worth the 30 min of misery. If I don't O and hubby wears condom, then it's only about 5 min of minor cramps. So right now I'm taking one for the team and trying to ignore my hormones but it sucks.
Gonna ask my doc at my next appt (tues) if I can expect this cramping for the whole pregnancy.
Re: A couple of sex questions.... (prob TMI, sry)
To be honest I've hardly done it since I got pregnant. Last time I did I barfed after haha-poor dh!
I would bring up the second point to your doctor-but it's probably nothing to worry about.

Yes and mostly yes.

SunnyHuny, I sent you a PM.
Thanks-good to know-I'll keep it in mind if I ever do end up having sex again
