Good morning July mama's!
I am just hoping to get some of your feeback on your weight gain. I am almost ten weeks and I am still 3-4 lbs. under my pre-pregnancy weight (and that was when I was training for a half-marathon!). So I was typically around 122lbs. and now I'm typically around 118.5lbs. I have had some morning sickness but I mostly just had one really bad week around week 6. As of now food is still weird but I am eating whenever I'm hungry which is usually 6 small meals a day. I exercise regularly with either running or yoga but haven't been doing anything excessively just 3-4 times a week. I have an appointment in a week but I just thought I could ease my mind by getting your feedback about what has been typical for you.
So, anybody not putting any weight on yet?

As long as you are eating healthy and balanced meals and exercising I wouldn't worry to much. In the books I have been reading they are actually more concerned if you are gaining to much in 1st tri.
Everyone is going to have there two cents but you just need to listen to your body and your OB. They do not know your body as well as you do.
I have actually lost a few pounds due to m/s but I am not as far along as you. I am hoping praying that I feel better and can go back to normal eating!
I'm 10w2d and have lost 3 pounds, which seems odd considering I definitely have a bump going on. Unfortunately, I'm not eating balanced meals. I can only stomach carbs, though I force veggies down. Protein has not been agreeing with me.
My OB said as long as we keep food down in the 1st tri, she's happy.

I am losing weight too, and did so with my first pg as well. I got alarmed when I was in my second tri last time and I lost the ability to handle food(and never cooked again until after LO was born). I couldn't stomach take out/restaurant food either. It was BAD because I was so HUNGRY and yet, everything made me so sick that I would take a bite and be done. As in, I'd never eat that food again until well after my daughter was born. I signed up for Seattle Sutton healthy eating 2000 calorie program(this is a diabetic/HBP geared meal, not the diet program that is only 1400cals), and it helped a lot. No way did I ever eat all the food given to me, but it was so bland that I could eat it and feel good after. I was probably 17 weeks before I started gaining weight finally! I ended up gaining a healthy 27 pounds! So don't worry, you will make it up later!
Right now I've lost 7 pounds. I was 15-20 overweight anyway so not an issue to me yet and since I still can cook, and have no food aversion, I think this time around will be much, much easier!
I'm 9w3d-I was your size at my wedding but put on about 10lbs after! I was 133lbs pre pregnancy and now I'm 129 depending on the time of day I get on the scale. Like the post above-I have a bit of a belly happening so I certainly look bigger! I'm not worries about it-I think it's better than putting on a bunch of weight.

I am 11 weeks and still down a couple pounds.
I think it is because I eliminated wine and beer from my diet.
It all evens out in the end.

(I wish it had been the same for me. Apparently olives and gin aren't high cal enough to make a difference
