DD's teachers think she's ready for potty training. She usually tells us when she wants her diaper changed and when she's about to poop (she woke up the other night screaming "diaper, diaper" because she was wet). She also really likes to sit on the potty at school. However, when we ask her if she wants to sit on the potty at home, she usually says no. And she's never actually gone to the bathroom in the potty at school or at home. Her main teacher is willing to try potty training but I'm hesitant because we're (fingers crossed) moving in a month, which means DD will be adjusting to a new house and school. I'm not sure if the change will totally throw her off and undo everything we've done over the past month if we decide to try potty training. Do y'all think it sounds like she's ready and if so, would you try potty training now or wait until she's adjusted to her new surroundings?
Re: A potty training WWYD
She finally was ready about 6 weeks ago (at a little over 2 1/2) and she started going at daycare for about a week before we could get her to go at home.

We are in just about the same circumstance. DD turns 2 tomorrow and has gone potty at home probably once a day for the last few weeks. She doesn't go everyday, but recently in the middle of playing will stop tell me she needs to go potty and then proceed to go in her potty. She isn't in school yet, but stays home with a nanny.
We are moving into a new house over NY weekend and she will start school 2x/week in January. We are waiting till after the move and school for a full on PT camp. I know her school does a lot with PT and our nanny is great so she will have no problem jumping right in, but with all the changes we are waiting.
I did buy her some Minnie Mouse underwear and we just switched to pull-ups during the day. I decided not to stress about it. I didn't expect her to be PT at 2, so if by chance she catches on we will be thrilled.
