I've been so unhappy with our pedi choices up here. We saw Dr. C at Pediatric Junction in Buda and LOVED her, so my bar was set really high. The pedi we've been seeing is really unapproachable and acts like I'm a moron, generally. Last month she tried to force me into giving DS a vaccination she insisted we missed at 6 months (2 1/2 YEARS ago?!) though I was very certain he'd had it. Long story short, the nurse looked into it and I was right. Ugh. So today I took DD to try a new pedi at a clinic near us, and I liked her immediately. She actually listened to me and said more than once "you're the mom, you know your child best, I trust your instincts!" DD loooooved her, too.

Then, guess what? She told me she's a UT grad! No WONDER I liked her so much. Small world, eh? I feel like we're in better hands now. Wink

And Vivi doesn't have an ear infection. She's a lying liar who LIES.

HA! I've got a friend up here with a boy A's age and a girl V's age. She's scrambling to get a Christmas card pic and I told her just to send that one out. Nobody would ever have to know.
