2 months ago I posted something about wanting cake on my FB and somone made a comment about me being pregnant and how unfair it will be for my daughter since she wouldn't be recevied enough attention and how my husbdand wouldnt be able to even get coffee because we had to use the money on diapers... I ignored her at the time. BUT now I feel guilty about having another baby. I'm not as excited as I should be and honestly all I can think of is DD and how she is going to feel left out. I feel so guilty about this pregnancy I havent told anyone not even my parents. How can I cope with this and feel better about this situation.
I will only be a 2u2 mom for about 3 months but I wanted to post in here to see if any of you can give me positive advice
Re: Help... Repost... Confession AW
I think it is normal to be worried about your first when you are expecting #2. Mine are 15 months apart and DS was 7 months old when I found out I was pg again. But your #1 will grow a lot in the next 9 months, and has a lot to look forward to with a new sibling. Mine may fight and squabble over toys, etc, but they are also best friends. They look for each other when they wake up from naps, and if I take only one of them somewhere, I spend the entire time telling them where the other is. I would just focus on all of the positive things about having a sibling close in age - my sister and I are 11 months apart and are best friends!
Good luck
A "friend" tried to make me feel bad when I told her I was expecting #2. I believe she said something along the lines of, "Why can't you just enjoy the baby you already have?"
We are no longer friends.
Um... firstly, your second child will NEVER receive as much attention as your daughter has had so far in her life. And God forbid you have a third child!! Your DD will not be left out, there's just another person to share in all the extra love.
Also, it's perfectly possible, if you want to, to toilet train your DD before your second baby comes along. Or, again if you want to, you could use cloth, either part time or full time, to save some money.
And make sure that if anyone ever leaves a comment on your FB like that again, you call them out for being such a b!tch. Who does that!?!
