I was like that almost the whole first trimester. I hope it gets better soon! I had a thing for goldfish crackers, pretzels, and cherry pop tarts. And lots of ginger ale.
I had it (along with the throwing up, not just nauseau) with DD2 all day, every day, for my entire pregnancy. The only thing that helped me was Zofran - it kept the throwing up from every hour to 2-3 times per day.
The only thing I could really stomach was carbs, and lots of them, which was not so good for the weight gain, but oh well! I liked rye toast, dry cereal (like kix or cheerios), jolly ranchers or sour candies helped too. I don't like ginger ale so I drank a lot of caffiene free ginger peach tea.
I also used Sea Bands - they use pressure points on your wrists to help with nausea. As silly as it sounds, it definitely made a difference - especailly on car or metro rides.
My MS didn't go away until 16 weeks - hopefully yours will be short!
Eat what appeals to you in the moment, and track your nausea and/or vomiting for your next doctor's appointment. I was surprised to learn in my first pregnancy I had hyperemesis - the technical term for "throws up too much" - and needed medication. (I have it with this pregnancy as well).
Ug, that is miserable, I hope you feel better soon! I was pretty sick from about 5 weeks until 20 weeks. I still get sick occassionally, but it's more like once a week instead of every day.
I took zofran and it helped a lot. The headaches and constipation it caused were no fun, but at least I could get through the day.
I second PP about eating whatever sounds good right then. My doctor said it was more important to get SOME food in, even if it wasn't the best nutrition. I ended up eating a lot of microwave popcorn, frosted strawberry pop-tarts, and spaghetti with butter. None of which I ate before I got pregnant, but for some reaosn those were some of the only things I could keep down. Oh, and cold cut combos from Subway. I had more of a problem with liquids. Milk was usually fine, and occassionally water with lots of lemon, but that was about it.

This. Although I was lucky that my all day every day sickness with vomiting went away at about week 20. Zofran is a wonder drug!
Before they gave me Zofran, I pretty much lived on carbs. Bland ones that (not to be indelicate) wouldn't burn coming back up.
Great advice above. If you get bad enough for medication, you can always ask about Reglan (The Poor Man's Zofran). That's what I took with my second and third pregnancies. I "toughed it out" during my first pregnancy and now I kick myself for not asking about medication sooner with that pregnancy. I was so sick I was losing weight - not good.
Hope you get it worked out - its a bear!
Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.
With my first pregnancy I toughed it out until week 20 on the mistaken notion that it would get magically better soon, my second pregnancy I took zofran, it is a wonder drug. As to eating, I found I had a window from about 2-4 where I wasn't feeling too ill, so I would eat my main meal for the day then. Until I took zofran, I couldn't keep any food down in the morning. I would just eat a salad or wonton soup for dinner, for some reason neither of those bothered me.
