  I took DH to parkside for his birthday last month and we both really liked it.  Great drinks, good food, fun people watching. 

  We also love Perla's, but prefer to sit outside when the weather is better.

  Chez Nous is hands down my favorite. The food is delicious, the mood is romantic and understated, and the price is really reasonable.

  Yes! I, personally, would vote for Second Bar Kitchen. The food is spectacular and drinks are out of this world. I think you're a wine gal, but if you go here you MUST MUST MUST try a (some) cocktails (they have an amazing wine selection as well).

  All three restaurants are overseen by Chef David Bull who used to be at the Driskill. SBK is a bit more my scene in terms of atmosphere and menu - Congress I believe is Prix Fixe and a bit "fine dining" for my taste, but I'd love to check it out on the right occasion! Congress Bar is supposed to be similar to Second in terms of menu and drinks, but more of a bar atmosphere over dining. Have fun! I can't wait to hit up downtown with my DH in a couple of weeks
