Well today was internal #2! I was a bit disappointed that I stayed. At 1 cm, but I am excited about going from 50% to 60% effaced! 

 

Currently bumping from my exercise ball,  let's get moving baby!

    Woohoo for 50 - 60%!

    My doctor doesn't start internals until 38w. Sucks because it would be nice to know if I'm progressing at all.

    Please don't take this the wrong way but I am so jealous :( I am hoping once I get off bed rest (Monday) I start making some progress!

    Jealous! If I remember right my Dr. said I was "closed, high, and thick." Boo! Also on my exercise ball!

    That seems like progress to me, but I understand where you're coming from! Bounce bounce bounce!

    I haven't had an internal yet and am anxious to see where I stand.

    I was 50% effaced at my first internal on Wednesday.  My MW wants me to deliver before our due date because of my GD, so she asked me to start taking Evening Primrose Oil to keep things progressing.  I think it is available at drug stores or health food stores.  You could try it.

    I had my first internal today.  She didn't give me a percent or anything, but she said I was closed but noticeably softening and thinning out, and that she could feel LO's head against the cervix.  So overall good news.
