white elephant gift ideas??

I am so bad at buying white elephant gifts. Any ideas???

    Some favs that I've seen in the past are the GIANT TV remote, an Ov Glove, a snuggie, anything in the "As Seen on TV" section of Walgreens...

     See, that's the thing. I have no idea what kind of white elephant type it is, I just assumed that it was a gag gift. Are there different types of white elephant parties? 

    I think I need to check out Walgreens! Great ideas!

    The other day I was in the liquor store getting DH some mini bottles as stocking stuffers (is that bad?).  And I thought that those mini patron bottles would be cool.  They're about 10 bucks a pop.  Or a mini crown with a coke.  Of course you don't know if they person is a drinker...  But if it's a party where people can "steal" then I'm sure someone who wants it will end up with it.

    I've got a white elephant gift exchange Monday and I'm thinking about buying a pocket chair, from the made for TV section (I saw it at JoAnns for $10).  Its for work, so I don't know if alcohol is okay.  Starbucks gift cards are also always popular at white elephant exhanges.

    My go-to gift is a box of Lucky Charms cereal with about $10 worth of scratch off lotto tickets.  =)

    i have some crystal-looking cat ornaments that you can take! white elephant to me means clear the junk you don't want at your house that's still in new condition. :)

    If it is not a gag gift white elephant, my go to gift is always the latest KGSR Broadcasts CD.

    Shake Weight - it was a huge hit at DH's white elephant exchange last year.

    Otherwise, you can never go wrong w/ alcohol :)

    If it isn't a gag I got the Austin Events calendar last year and it was a hit. $14.99 regular price or $9.99 at Costco and you can pair with a good chocolate bar and lip balm or something if the limit is +$10.
