a few times now i've had this awful feeling. During a long "hard ute" period I'll cough or sneeze and feel this SPLITTING feeling in the front.
anyone???
maybe it's a scar tissue issue??
my bump really isn't that big so it can't be a lack of space issue. :
just had a doc appt and everything was fine- it's just crippling :
Re: Awful Ute Feeling
hmm nope it doesn't feel like a charlie horse. it feels more like it's ready to split open- like it's been stretched to it's limit and i get this vision of Seven's Glutton in my head
you really think it could be a ligament issue Leanna? I mean, it doesn't feel like the RLP i get in my side.
his butt is way in there between my ribs making it tight, then i'll have a BH for like 10 minutes at the same time making it extra tight.-- so maybe unlike RLP it's a stretching LP pain b/c i'm adding a third stress of a cough/sneeze?
just hate this feeling when i still have 42 days to go & i can only get bigger from here!
It kind of sounds like what I've been feeling... Hard to describe, but it's like the two sides of my pelvis are being pulled apart right in my pubic area. It's especially bad when I first get up after sitting/laying and take start to walk. Also hurts when I sneeze.
Last I heard LO was head down, so I assumed it was her head creating space and preparing for birth. I also have a small bump, so she may be going down and out to find more room

We have talked about this a lot in my prenatal yoga class - diastasis - it is where your abs basically pull apart down the middle of your belly during pregnancy or sometimes during delivery and is apparently very common. Usually you supposedly don't feel it at all, but I'm actually wondering if I did it because I have been really sore lately when trying to roll over in bed, sit up, etc. There are exercises you can do during and after pregnancy to help the muscles heal back together. It is apparently not a big deal as far as a health issue, but can affect core strength/stability, as well as the speed at which you get a flat tummy back.
well poop kmm... as much as i hate your post, it really fits! i should have never stopped working out :
thank you for the link!
Just last night I was laying on my back in bed and my SO was trying to find her heart beat with a toilet paper roll (heehee). Then I coughed and my right lower pelvic area felt like it was going to rip apart! It hurt so bad, I had to roll onto my side and hold my belly for a couple of minutes until it subsided...
Freaked my SO out for a sec as well.
