I wonder if this will change her views about her first m/c that inspired them to stop using birth control.
After TTC with IR PCOS:
April 2011: Metformin 1500mg + Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel + Prometrium = BFP!
Beta #1 at 14DPO: 197 Beta #2 at 18DPO: 1296
At 40w6d, our Team Green surprise came by unplanned C-section and changed our lives forever!
She is on that show 19 kids and counting. Her and her husband don't believe in any form of birth control after she miscarried while on birth control. So they leave it up to God about how many kids they will have.
That's too bad, she was actually pretty far along if I remember right? Due in April I think?
I think it was April. The article said they were having an u/s to find out the sex of the baby when they found no heartbeat, so pretty far along.

She was about 20 weeks along. "At a routine check-up Thursday to find out the sex of their 20th child, their doctor was unable to find a heartbeat and told the couple they had miscarried in the second trimester. "
I don't know who they are, I don't get into those shows. but if they believe in leaving things up to God then I guess that was his decision and that's how they will probably percieve it. I don't like octo mom and kate and jon shows who capitalize on having more kids then they can afford to care for. so 19 is ridiculous, but it's their religion so yo each their own.

Normally I feel the exact same way. The octomom repulses me. But from what I have heard (never watched it), this family was very financially stable before their show and all of their kids are super well behaved and respectful. I wanted to hate them, but they seem to be very responsible.
That would be really tragic to lose your baby at 20 weeks no matter how many you have.

This. These kids have been raised well and if they have more they will continue to be raised well.

I don't agree with their choices but I feel for them and their loss. By the 20 week point I was definitely in love with my LO and it would have been crushing.
Regardless of my feeling towards having that many children, my heart goes out to her. It's always heartbreaking to lose a pregnancy especially that far along.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Definitely not in the same group as octomom or Jon & Kate plus 8. And I also agree with PP about them relying on God. I would expect that's the exact view they had-- with the birth control, they were making that choice. With this one, they took themselves out of the equation.
So sad for their loss.
